Kevin Dessimoz: Annie Dillard

I took special of note of one of the things Annie Dillard said in Three. "We are here on the planet only once, and might as well get a feel for the place." It is a very simple view on life but one that should be considered by all. Most people get stuck in their daily routine of life and fail to notice the world around them, but if they lived by this saying they could get so much more out of life. Sometimes you just need to escape from the drudgeries of everyday life and experience something new in nature. Although Annie Dillard presents a very simple view in this statement, I feel it is one that should be strongly considered by everyone.
