Kevin Dessimoz: Natural Setting

When going to a place like Lion’s Bridge you are immersed in nature and you have to notice the beauty of it. Lion’s Bridge is surrounded by beautiful trees, flowers, water, and animals. On the path you are surrounded by trees which put you in a forest environment. There were a plethora of different types of flowers which entailed a variety of colors. The trail wraps around a body of water that gives you a beautiful view when looking from one side of the trail to another. There were many animals on the trail. Some of them were ducks, squirrels, and birds. I feel that a person can get lost in the city life and not value nature like they should. When you are taken out to nature and shown it you get a better appreciation for the natural beauty of it. Getting away from campus and going to Nolan Trail was a good experience and helpful in gaining a better appreciation of nature.
