Kevin Dessimoz: Natural Setting #2

Over spring break I went to the National Zoo in Washington D.C. In the zoo they build "natural habitats" for the animals in their exhibits. But how natural can these habitats be if they are built by humans? I feel that they are not natural at all since they are man made, though the animals may not be able to tell the difference. Either way the animals should not be in the zoo to begin with. They should be in their true habitat out in the wild. By being in a zoo these animals live a completely different life than they would normally live.
