David Hahn, The Beauties of Nature.

5/1/08

From Wendell Berry’s A Continuous Harmony: Essays Cultural and Agricultural
Berry writes on page forty-four and forty-five about what he encountered out in nature after only sitting there for around one hour. Even in just this short amount of time he writes about seeing ducks, woodpeckers, other various birds, a salamander, eggs of some amphibious creature, remarks about hearing many different sounds from diverse creatures, and the splendors of different unique trees. This relates perfectly to the class by the fact that you have to want to find and to be looking hard at nature to see all the treasures that it has to offer us.
