Brien Carr - yet another exile

I was searching for information in Biblical encounters and wilderness when I came upon an interesting discussion that is staking place in some of the Messianic and Hebreaic understanding communities around the globe. This idea is the thought that the period known as Jacob's trouble will be more than expected for those left on the Earth. As a child I was taught to believe in a pretribulation rapture experience that would include Jesus' return to Earth to take those who believe in him to heaven, so that God the father could pour out his wrath upon those who did not believe in him. After that Jesus would return to Earth and those who were left would be converted ito believe in him and he would establish his kingdom and begin to rule the Earth. The discussion I came across says that scripture does not verify this claim. By comparing prophetic messages from the Old Testament and the New Testament book of prophecy, Revelation, there is not enough evidence to support a pre-tribulation rapture. The website then goes on the talk about wilderness preparedness and embraces the idea of a second exile for those who are Jewish and those who believe in the Messiah. Author Mike Clayton, goes on to suggest to be prepared for a complete collapse of the governmental systems and a wilderness style life that is almost completely broken down into a survival of the fittest, Darwinian world. I find this topic interesting and I will consider it for more research because some of the claims seem to be legitmate. One who believes this theory must be able to respect the wild side of the creation of nature in order to believe they will be able to survive in it for any period of time.
